Recently...

Because I should be doing lots of Uni work I've been very distracted and I've become obsessed with Pokemon (to an unhealthy amount) and art. While stumbling I stumbled upon Barnaby Ward, he has some really beautiful and slightly odd images (like the one above), more of his stuff can be found at http://somefield.com. I just wan't to graduate so I can draw stuff. Anyway... sleep...

An overall merry day...

Well today was pretty fun... (Although I overslept and missed helping out at uni today #_# sorry...)

Anywho I worked on my jelly fish game a bit and got texture swapping working.

After that I went to Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park with some friends, it was surprisingly Christmas-ey ^^ but unsurprisingly expensive... Talking about expensive, we ended up eating at TGI Friday and I had a £15 Jack Daniels full rack of ribs. 100% worth it!

On the way home I found these and got really excited.

I love Nerds but they aren't sold in England any more. The possibility of fake nerds for 39p at a near by corner shop seemed too good to be true... It was. They are horrible.

Korean Film Festival

There is a Korean film festival going on this month. I would quite like to go to see some of the films but I guess it depends whether or not I have time, I'm still working on my JET application, not to mention my dissertation and all the other work I have. >_<

Truthfully I want to watch them all...

Egyptian god at the laundrette

I was reliving my past, instead of doing my coursework (as you do), and searched up Super Flash Bros. Super Flash Bros made a short flash series on Newgrounds I used to watch when I was 14 called Decline of Video Gaming. I was originally just going to show my friend Sean (who's blog is Multi-Purpose) the videos, but I stumbled across some of the new stuff they have done. First off they have this beautiful animation Wash, Seth and Dry, which is only 20 seconds long but very cool. They also have a cute little game called Haunt the House where you play as a ghost that can posses object to scare people out of a house.

The video below actually shows the whole game, (I couldn't find a shorter one) so you might want to just play the game rather than watch it.

Twitter actually tuns out to be quite interesting

Through twittering I've discovered, Suda 51 is working on a new IP (woooooooooooo! I like this BTW) and this website has awesome No More Heroes 2 T-shirts, as well as a lot of other kool stuff. Now I just need to work out if they'll send to the UK.

Tonight I woke up to a bouncer pulling me across the floor and out of the bar, apparently he didn't like me sleeping in the bar... I also fell asleep on the bus home and went to the last stop... My face is also green...

I am still awake and need to get up in half an hour... I just discovered an iPhone StumbleUpon app @_@ there is no hope for me now...

¥1,800 (£13) down the iTunes drain...

I just spent ¥1,800 on an album on iTunes (because I'm tired and really shouldn't still be awake) and only 2 of the songs are in Japanese (which wouldn't be a problem if I wasn't only listening to Japanese music) Oh well life goes on I suppose...

This was one of the Japanese songs BTW.

Pa pa pa poker face pa pa paaaaggghhhh shut up!!!

Well I can't sleep because I need to get up early and my brain is a bitch; it's decided to put Lady Gaga Poker Face on repeat... Anywho I decided to download and play Minecraft because Destructoid told me to and its free to play for a few days due to some technical reason. I played it for a few minutes and I don't understand @_@ I'll put this tutorial video that I can't be bothered to watch here and maybe I can work out how to play later.

A Brief Update.

BTW I'm long back from Tokyo and 16 lessons into my Japanese course, I've also started reading books. I'll blog about all those things at some point I've been a bit busy with moving house and things. For now just shit down and enjoy this informational video...

I'm tired so this seems cool.

Well apparently cinemas don't let you in if your 20 minutes late @_@ ...I've never heard of Dinner for Shmups anyway... I'll just sit here.

Unorganisation

Well I'm flying to Tokyo later today and I haven't even packed @_@ and I need to tidy my flat coz builders are coming round... Hmm I don't really have time to blog...

iPhone post

Ok so I was going to move back to wordpress so I could use their free app but it worked once and didn't let me use it again so I decided to buy this app and stick with blogger. Anywho yeah I got the new iPhone4 yaaay! I love it so far. I had to wait in a long ass queue tho. @_@ It took 4 hours and when I got to the till the lady told me I couldn't get an iPhone if I didn't already have a contract (even tho about five other people working there had told me I could... Luckily I had O2 broadband so I was allowed to get one, I would have been so pissed. In other news I'm off to Tokyo on Monday :) and when I get back I'm gunna start going to a new language school so I can practice my Japanese speaking.

Sushi and Burrito Food of Kings.

Well today was interesting... I somehow managed to spend £53 on a haircut. (I really should have asked the price before I got it cut...) Anywho it was the first time getting any cut more exciting than short back and sides for £5. Maybe I should have just gone for that. @_@ Oh well I had the best lunch possible sushi and burrito. I love Japanese food and I LOVE Mexican food so it was an amazing combination, especially as I got to watch RoboGeisha as well. (HAHA!) RoboGeisha was a very odd film and a lot more serious than I was expecting (well story oriented anyway) but it was good all the same. Anywho here's what I wrote today on Lang-8...
