Back/foreground objects done (I suppose)
I have finally finished placing all the objects in the level (although I'm not 100% happy with the job, I don't have any more time). It was very hard trying to place the foreground objects to make it look like there is a reason Logan can't walk any closer to the screen without blocking the view. If I was to do this again I would make sure there were some object specifically made for that purpose. I also added the newly recorded grapevine sounds to the project. I think I would rather stick to character design and animation than placing hundreds and hundreds of objects again. #_#

Recording and Intro
Today, well yesterday, I helped out with recording dialogue ant uni but we ran out of time so I went to my friends house and finished of the recording there (thanks Sanj and Dan). One of the things we recorded was a replacement summery of the levels we didn't end up making. I also created some images to go with the dialogue and they have now been implemented into the game. I only managed to get time to do the ones for the intro though. The text was written by Sean.
There are the other images I created after the jump.

F**king, God Damn, Fantastic Bloody Blog Post
Ok, so I haven't actually managed to get round to writing many blog posts this term (I have however been busier that I think I've ever been >_<). This post will sum up everything that I can remember doing since my last post (hopefully, despite my terrible memory, will be most of what I've done).
I've had a virtual sticky note on my desktop for a while telling me to do this post and Martin kindly edited it for me.
So that's why this post is called what it is. Read the rest of my scribble after the jump.

File names and sketches
I just completed the tedious task of renaming all the placeholder assets that have been created so far with the new naming conventions that includes file type. (This was to avoid any possible confusion in unity as file extensions aren't shown.) I also filled out the 3D asset table that we have on the wiki which is really long winded and not very intuitive at all, I'll have to discuss with Daryl about using a spreadsheet instead.
During the meeting me and Ben ran a sketching workshop to get a better idea of the environment style and we ended up with some good sketches which are now on the pin board. We are almost ready to start modelling some final quality assets.

Coordination
We've got back into Project blend in full swing now and as we've started making place holder graphics so I've finally got a chance to actually coordinate. Being a coordinator in fun but every time I sit down to actually make something I get asked a questions (now I know how Martin feels) I did however manage to make a few character place holders including Logan with attack animation. Place holder models were flying out like a production line, but its still early days.

Design document
I have created most of the visual design section of the document as well as collating the concept art appendix. This post is very short but I did a lot in the design document (about 3000 words and loads and loads of pictures) :P I also just spent about an hour formatting what I had done a bit better...
...I am now sleepy...

Level 3 encounters
These are my encounter walkthroughs, they were actually done about a week ago but I didn't get round to uploading it to my blog.
Level 03 Encounter 02
Logan jumps down of the ledge, he cannot get back up. If Logan falls into the mould (M) he is damaged. Logan should stay in the back layer in order to assassinate the apple core, otherwise he will have to fight which will leave him low on health. A crumpled sticky note (Note1) has a crude drawing of a raspberry and a blackberry with something that looks like Logan in the middle, they are all smiling. To progress Logan will be forced to walk over a small patch of mould which will take away a small portion of damage. Logan will then be faced with a crop of zomberry blackberries who cry “brother!” as they fight. After this fight Logan’s health is restored.

Blender concept and initial Bin level walk-through (level 3)
Level 3: The Bin.
After fading to black the screen fades back in, Logan is in a bin on a ledge. There appears to be no way up or right so for the first time Logan has to go down to the left. This is a stealth section going down (possibly avoiding apple cores and such). Logan then walks to the other side of the bin in order to find a way up, fighting Zomberry fodder along the way. There is mould around that hurts Logan if he touches it. Logan meets Helon and and the Rebel black berries who begin to explain the situation when Helon attacks. Helon carries on explaining (she is turning into a Zomberry) as she chases Logan up towards the top of the bin. Logan has to jump up avoiding Helon's attack and falling into mould. Helon screams "Kill me!" Logan has to dislodge a loose, sharp can lid which slices Helon in half. at the top Logan has to stealth his way around a pumpkin and fights off the last of the Zomberries.

The Grapevine
Known to most as the eyes, ears and most importantly, mouth of the kitchen; the grapevine is an information network that seems to take no sides. Apparently acting as the neural party, the Grapevine will to give anyone any information at any time. the Grapevine "helps" Logan throughout his journey in the bad kitchen. What Logan doesn't know is the Grapevine is slowly and tactfully taking over the kitchen and causing all of Logan's problems. The Blender is a front for the grapes operation. The Grapevine is everywhere.

Raspberry plot overview
This is a rough outline of my story ideas for Project Blend, loosely based on a plot structure given to us by Hope Caton.
Prologue / Act one part 1
I'm not quite sure whether this is the prolougue or just straight into Act one... None the less this section will be very short. A mysterious grape steps out of the shadows and tells Logan (raspberry hero of the story) that his master, The Dragon Fruit has wants to see him. Logan makes his way to see Dragon Fruit.
Inciting incident
On the way to the Dragon Fruit, the kitchen is attacked by a variety of small fruit (berries, lychees and such). Logan doesn't have a weapon so has to sneak past without being seen.
Act one part 2
Raspberry reaches Master Dragon fruit, only to find his master mid battle with a Horned Melon (called Helon). Dragon Fruit falters when he sees Logan and is sliced in half by Horned Helon.
Sliced in half but still alive, Dragon fruit gives Logan his weapon and tells him he's "ripe enough" to reach his full potential. Before Logan can attack, the Horned Helon retreats.
Act one hook
The same grape as earlier comes out of the shadows again and tells Logan his family has been taken next door. The grape also gives Logan some advice "always trust a grapes information but never tell a grape anything. Your secrets aren't safe with us. Good luck." The grape returns to the shadows. Logan has to slash his way through the remainder of the enemy blueberries until he reaches a hole in the wall guarded by a rather large banana. Logan has to use stealth to either avoid or kill the banana. Logan goes into the wall.

Smoothie Criminal.
Ok so this is my first post for the MS3306 wolf project at university. This is my game idea proposal.

Raspberry hit man assassinates other fruit to appease self proclaimed king of the kitchen The Blender.
Find out what that entails after the jump.
